Computex 2004, Taipei, Taiwan. Today we
looked further at the KC3000 from Mapower, the full range of Industrial
Mini-ITX boards from IBASE, and the Hush
Mini-ITX Extended from Hush Technologies.

We looked at the mirrored front of Mapower's KC3000 Mini-ITX
case, designed to match their KC range of hard drive enclosures. They also
had a couple of other demonstration variants on the KC3000 theme.

IBASE showed their full Mini-ITX range, the MB850 (Socket
478 Pentium 4, Intel 845GV
chipset), MB860 (Transmeta Efficeon TM8600, ATI M7 chipset), MB870 (Socket
478 Pentium 4, ATI RS300M chipset), and their MB890 (Socket 479 Pentium M,
Intel 855GME chipset).

Hush Mini-ITX Extended
I saw a turtle
IBASE also had a working Transmeta-powered MB860 on display,
along with the rest of their range of motherboards of various sizes and form
factors.
On
the
VIA
stand was the Hush Mini-ITX Extended, a 430mm wide version
of
the
fanless
Hush
Mini-ITX
with support for twin hard drives and hardware RAID. Then we went to the
night market.
