Our own Mini-ITX compatible 1U case is constructed from Heavy-duty pre-plated SPGC cold-rolled steel, and was designed from the start to be as quiet, energy efficient and flexible as possible. The C2-RACK is by far the quietest rackmount we sell supporting multiple HDDs.
Drive Bays: 4x 2.5in or 3.5in Internal Hard Drive Bays (no adapter required for 2.5in HDDs); 1x IDE/SATA Slimline Optical Drive Bay (Blanking plate pre-fitted; Adapter provided for IDE optical; Use a Mini SATA cable for SATA optical); 2x Internal USB 2.0 Sockets (cable connects to USB header on motherboard).
Front Panel: Power Switch and Embedded Reset Switch, HDD, 2x LAN, Power LEDs; 4x USB 2.0 Sockets.
Power supply: The C2-RACK features a very high quality 80 PLUS-certified 300W PSU, which can accept any AC voltage from 100-240V. The PSU is near-silent and has the following outputs: 1x 20/24-Pin ATX Power, 1x P4 12v Power, 4x SATA Power, 1x Molex, 1x Floppy, 4x FAN Power Headers. The PSU is compatible with our C1-RACK chassis and will be available separately.

Volume: 8.9 litres.
PCI Support: A PCI card up to 175mm (6.9in) can be fitted with the optional Flexible PCI Riser Cable or Solid PCI Riser Card/Extender. Internal USB 2.0 sockets may obstruct deep (vertically) cards - these can be unscrewed and removed.
Cooling: Supplied with 2x 40x40x20mm, 6.3 CFM @ 5200 RPM, 18 dBA ball bearing fans fitted in fan brackets. Up to 2 more fans can be fitted. All fans can be powered directly from the internal PSU. Tip: Use a Rheostat (e.g. Zalman Fan Mate II) to adjust your 40mm fan speeds from quiet to barely audible.
Mounting: The C2-RACK can be mounted directly using just the front ears. For added stability in a 600mm deep rack, use the fixed rear mounting brackets. For flexibility in a 600mm to 800mm deep rack, use the 20in sliding rails.
Recommended boards:
(1) The Jetway JNC92-330 is a low power consumption Atom board that can be fitted with 3x additional LAN or 4x additional SATA making it a perfect companion for the C2-RACK. Available as part of our C2-RACK bundle.
(2) The Zotac ION-ITX-G Synergy is a dual core Atom with 4x SATA as standard and has the excellent ION chipset enabling 1080p playback.
Supported boards: Embedded Mini-ITX boards with ATX connectors and standard height heatsinks e.g. Intel D410PT, D510MO, later model D945GCLF, D945GCLF2; Jetway Atom & J7F2/4K/5M; Zotac ION-ITX-B; VIA EPIA boards; Socket Mini-ITX boards with <30mm 1U heatsinks. Due to the near-silent nature of the C2-RACK, additional fans may be required for Socket 775/AM2/AM3 motherboards.
Backplates: To date we have designed backplates for the following boards: Jetway JNC91, JNC92, Intel D945GCLF, D945GCLF2, DG45FC, Zotac 9300 (not I-E), Zotac ION-ITX-B, Zotac ION-ITX-G, EPIA CN, EN, CL, PD, EK. Backplates are not required to mount motherboards securely but do reduce dust ingress and improve airflow. Backplates can be manufactured for any motherboard (10 unit minimum, 3 week lead time).
Not supported: Any Mini-ITX boards with larger than normal heatsink size will not physically fit, e.g. EPIA MII, Zotac ION with fan fitted; Socket motherboards with heatsinks taller than 30mm.
