Socket motherboard compatibility: We recommend fitting a maximum 73W TDP CPU on a socket motherboard with the Chenbro ES34069 120W chassis. Modern Intel CPU heatinks will fit in the ES34069.

Recommended boards: almost all Mini-ITX boards will fit in the ES34069 chassis, but the 4-6 drive bays are better suited to boards with 4+ SATA ports. IDE connectors can also be useful for additional drive support.

Recommended boards (1): Powerful - The Gigabyte GA-H67N-USB3-B3, Intel DH67CFB3 and Intel DQ67EP are Socket 1155 boards with on-board RAID, 4x SATA connectors and a wide selection of graphic outputs and board features. The DQ67EP has the advantage of remote management functionality. Combine with up to a 65W TDP CPU for an extremely powerful Core i3/i5 machine.

Recommended board (2): Low Power Consumption, 4x SATA and up to 4x LAN - The Dual Core Jetway Atom JNC9C-550 has 4x SATA connectors and can support 4x LAN with an additional daughterboard.

Recommended board (3): Low Power Consumption, 6x SATA and up to 5x LAN - The Dual Core Jetway Atom JNF99-525 has 6x SATA connectors and 2x LAN as standard, and can support 5x LAN with an additional daughterboard.

Recommended board (4): Low Power Consumption, Great Value - The Gigabyte GA-D525TUD has a 1.8GHz Atom D525 processor, 4x SATA and 1x IDE connectors, and is keenly priced.

Recommended board (5): Low Power Consumption, Powerful Graphics - The Zotac E350-A-E has 4x SATA and powerful AMD Fusion graphics.

Slimline optical drives and RAM height: Some boards require ULP (ultra low profile) RAM under 30mm high in one/both of their DIMM slots if a slimline optical drive is used. These boards include: EPIA SN (1 slot), Jetway J7F2, J7F5M, Intel DG45FC. Boards with very large/wide heatsinks may not support slimline optical drives (e.g. EPIA EN, some larger AMD heatsinks).
