The Fractal Design ION SFX-L 650G is a Fully Modular 125mm long SFX-L PSU. The ION SFX-L 650G is compatible not only with chassis that use SFX-L power supplies but also in ATX chassis, using the included SFX-to-ATX mounting bracket. The ION has 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, and a load and temperature controlled 120mm cooling fan with zero RPM operation under ~330W at 25C ambient. Premium Japanese 105°C capacitors provide enhanced reliability and durability. Huge 10 year manufacturer's warranty.

Zero RPM Operation The ION SFX-L 650G continuously measures PSU temperatures and power output levels to determine when active cooling is required. When under load the fan will turn itself on to ensure that it gets the cooling it needs without any unwanted noise. Up to ~325W load, the ION will not spin its fan. At ~375W load, the fan will spin at just 1200 RPM, increasing to ~1900 RPM at 650W.
