This kit consists of a +5 dBi nominal gain 2.4 GHz Wireless Dipole Dual Band Antenna with SMA reverse connector and IPX to SMA female reverse polarity pigtail suitable for connection to any standard Mini or Half-Mini-PCIe or PCI Wireless Card. One 17cm antenna and one pigtail provided per kit. Pigtail is 30cm in length, giving wider compatibility than traditional 15-20cm pigtails. Some wireless cards have multiple antenna connections which can provide increased speed/bandwidth. Compatibility: We recommend the M350 chassis and any Mini-ITX board with a Mini-PCI Express slot. Can also be used as an upgrade for Mini-ITX motherboards with Wi-Fi onboard. The M350 chassis has one antenna hole in the rear and one additional hole (generally used for 12V DC, though this may not be used depending on your choice of board). Most other chassis do not have antenna holes as standard. |
