Mini-ITX A7879 4-Bay NAS Chassis with 250W PSU

This solidly constructed steel chassis has 4 individually lockable hot-swap/removable drive bays suitable for either 2.5in or 3.5in hard drives. Full height PCI/PCI-Express cards are supported.

Bays: 4x 2.5/3.5in SATA HDD/SDD in Lockable Hot-Swap/Removable Caddies.

Cooling: 1x 120mm Rear Fan (quiet).

Front Panel: 2x USB 2.0 Sockets; Power Button; Reset Button; Power and Storage Activity LEDs; Each Drive Caddy has Power and Activity Indicators.

Power Supply: Internal 250 Watt Flex-ATX PSU with quiet 40mm Fan. UK power cord provided as standard. Power connectors: 1x 20/24pin ATX (marked "P1" and "4+"); 1x 12V CPU (marked "P2"); 2x Molex (fitted to the SATA backplanes, to power the 4x drive bays).

Fitting 5 or 6 Drives: It is possible to fit additional 2.5in drives into the space either side of the drive trays, positioned upright with adhesive pads. Use a Female Molex to Male Molex & SATA cable inline with a power connector fitting to one of the SATA backplanes. These Molex connectors are tight - but can be removed with care by removing the bottom 2 drive trays and unscrewing the backplane from the front, remove the backplane and gently wiggling till the connector releases.

Supported Boards: All Embedded (e.g. Celeron) Mini-ITX boards with ATX connectors; Socket Mini-ITX boards can be used if fitted with a heatsink under 40mm. Most boxed Intel/AMD CPUs will require a low profile heatsink.
