This is a Barebones unit. To complete your system a processor, memory and storage will be required. You may use our build link to choose compatible items.
Suitable Processors: The Deskmini X300 requires a compatible AMD processor with on-board graphics (name ends in 'G'). A full list can be found here. From Dec 2021, X300 have BIOS >= 1.7. Some retail processors also include heatsinks but check the heatsink height. A heatsink is included with the X300 but the Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 is an excellent choice for an extremely quiet alternative heatsink.
Storage Bays: 2x Ultra M.2 Type 2280 PCIe Gen3 x4 SSD slots (both up to 32 Gb/s, one slot is 16 Gb/s if used with with Athlon 2xxGE APU). 2x SATA 6Gb/s 2.5 inch 7mm/9.5mm Hard Drives Bays with RAID 0 and 1 support.
Expansion: 1x M.2 Socket (Key E) supports Type 2230 WiFi/BT module.
Front Panel: 1x Headphone Jack; 1x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A Port; 1x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C Port; 1x Microphone Jack.
Rear Panel: 1x DC-In Jack (120W 19V AC Adapter provided); 1x VGA Port(max 1920x1200 @ 60Hz); 1x HDMI Port (max 44096x2160 @ 60Hz); 1x DisplayPort 1.2 (max 4096x2304 @ 60Hz); 1x USB 2.0 Port; 1x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A Port; 1x Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit LAN Port.
