Important! This board has a 12V DC Power input and is not designed for use with a standard ATX PSU: The JNF591-3160 requires a 12V AC Adapter to power the board at the rear and feeds power to up to 2 other SATA devices through an on-board 4pin power output connector. There is an alternate 12V input on a 2pin Molex 5566-2 connector which can also be used (though not at the same time as the rear input). This board is not designed for connection directly to a 12V battery output.
Powering devices: An internal 4pin power output cable is provided. Other powered devices (including SATA slimline optical drives) may require additional cables. Please email before ordering if unsure. Don't forget you can install Linux and Windows 7 from a USB key very easily!
Suitable cases (with PSU): All Mini-ITX Chassis can be used with the JNF591-3160 if their PSU is bypassed and a 12V external AC Adapter is used (60W minimum).

Installing Windows 7 64-bit: To install Windows 7 64-bit on any Braswell or Skylake motherboard - modified installation media with xHCI drivers included is required, or the install will appear to freeze at the language select screen. Instructions provided in the user manual or here.

Memory: The JNF591-3160 supports up to 8GB DDR3 memory on 2x DDR3L SODIMMS (up to 4GB per SODIMM). If using one memory module, install into the SODIMM_1 socket. Fully tested DDR3L DIMMs are available in the 'you may also require' section.
