ASRock Rack X570D4I-2T server motherboard with AMD AM4 Socket Ryzen 3rd-5th Generation Series processor support and ASPEED AST2500 on-board graphics. Supports 4x DDR4 ECC and non-ECC SODIMM (up to 128GB), 1x Type 2280 M.2 (SATA/NVMe), 8x SATA 6Gbps through 2x OCulink storage expansion ports (1 cable provided for 4x SATA). Integrated IPMI 2.0 with KVM and Dedicated RTL8211E LAN, PCIe Gen4x16 link (Matisse) and 2x Intel X550-AT RJ45 10GLAN.

Rear Panel Connectors: 1x VGA Port (D-Sub); 2x USB 3.1 Gen2 Port; 2x 10G LAN Ports (RJ45); 1x Dedicated Realtek RTL8211E Management LAN (RJ45); 1x UID Button & LED.

Board Expansion: 1x PCI Express 4.0 x16 Slot (supports PCIe 3.0 x16 with 4xxxG/5xxxG or PCI-E 3.0 x8 with 3xxxG processors); 1x Type 2280 Gen4 x4 M.2 socket (supports Gen3 x4 with 3xxxG/4xxxG/5xxxG processors); 8x SATA 6Gb/s ports available through OCulink storage expansion ports (1 cable provided, additional cable required for ports 5-8).

Integrated Graphics: This board has basic integrated ASPEED AST2500 VGA graphics. A GPU is not required.

Suitable Processors: The ASRock X570D4I-2T board supports various 3rd Generation AMD AM4 socket Ryzen series processors. The ASRock X570D4I-2T is not provided with a processor. Suitable processors are available in the 'you may also require' section to the left. We recommend a max. of 65W if fitting into a 1U chassis.

Supported Processors: All boards purchased from 2022 onwards support Picasso (Zen+ with GPU e.g. 3400G), Matisse (Zen2 e.g. 3950X), Cezanne (Zen3 with GPU e.g. 5700G), Vermeer (Zen3 e.g. 5800X) processors. The X570D4I-2T has onboard graphics, so please ignore the 'Requires GPU' message for some processors! Earlier boards will require a BIOS update. All boards purchased 2023 onwards have BIOS 2.5 or later. Please ensure your cooler is appropriate for the processor.

Intel 115X Cooler Required: The X570D4I-2 supports Intel 115X/1200 compatible coolers. AMD CPU coolers will not fit. An Intel cooler is required and is not included with an AMD CPU. A threaded metal backplate is attached to the motherboard - in most cases this will need to be carefully removed to fit a heatsink (gently push through from above, do not lever this off with a metal object!).

Powering from ATX Power Supply: This board can be powered from a standard ATX power connector by connecting the PSU's 24-pin ATX connector to the board's 4-pin ATX4PIN1 connector using the provided 24-pin to 4-pin ATX adaptor cable AND connecting the PSU's 12V 4-pin ATX power connector to the board's 8-pin ATX12V2 connector. These connectors are both next to the CMOS Battery. Please check with our photos before powering your board.

Powering from 12V DC: This board can be powered from a regulated 12V DC power source through the 8-pin 12V power connector (ATX12V2). A cable is provided to power up to 6x SATA devices from the 4-pin SATAPWR1 connector on the board, when using DC-IN Mode. The SATAPWR1 connector is close to the PCIe slot, next to the Oculink connectors.

Fitting Memory: No picture on power up? 1 or 2 modules can only be fitted in particular configurations. The SODIMM slots are numbered B1, B2, A1, A2 from the outside of the board inwards. Use A1 or A2 for 1 module. Use A1+B1, or A1+A2 or B1+B2 for 2 modules. IPMI will function even with incompatible memory.

Memory Compatibility: This board is very(!) particular with memory. We recommend using either memory listed on the official QVL, or purchased directly from us. Incompatible memory will give no picture, or kernel panics/ blue screens on OS installation.

Connecting SATA drives: Can't see your drives? Change in your BIOS: Advanced / Chipset / OCU1 (or OCU2) Mode from PCIE to SATA.

2x USB Connectors: This board only has 2x Type-A USB 3.0 connectors, and 1x USB 3.0 board header. You may want to add a USB 3.0 header cable to Type-A adapter to your order if your case does not have a USB 3.0 header connector. GUI OS installation from USB can be interesting without a mouse!

Suitable Cases: All our Mini-ITX chassis with a suitable power supply, and an appropriate LGA115x heatsink.

Suitable Memory: The X570D4I-2T Dual Channel Memory Architecture supports DDR4 Non-ECC and ECC memory up to 128GB in 4x slots. A Ryzen PRO CPU may be required to support ECC memory (to be determined). DDR4 is not compatible with other types of DDR memory. Fully tested DDR4 DIMMs are available in the 'you may also require' section to the left.
