The ARTiGO A2000 is a compact very low power consumption, extremely low volume barebones storage server ideal for building your own DIY NAS. The A2000 is powered by a 1.5GHz Nano-ITX board, supports up to 2GB of memory and 2x 3.5in SATA II HDD and can be booted from Compact Flash as well as HDD, USB and LAN.

The A2000 packs all this into a 135 x 120 x 260 mm (5.3 x 4.7 x 10.2in) package - just 4.2 litres in volume.
Motherboard: 1.5GHz VIA C7-D Processor and VX800 Chipset with VIA Chrome9 Graphics and VIA VT1708B Vinyl 8 channel HD audio supporting up to 2GB DDR2 667/556/400 SODIMM Memory.
Drive Bays: Bootable Type 1 Compact Flash Slot underneath Motherboard; 2x 3.5in SATA 3GB/s Drive Bays with integrated SATA Data/Power connectors.
Front Panel: Power Switch; Reset Switch; USB 2.0 Port; Power, LAN activity, LAN speed, WLAN and HDD activity LEDs.
Rear Panel: VIA VT6130 Gigabit Ethernet port; 12V DC-In (AC Adapter Provided); 3.5mm Mic and Line In; 2x USB 2.0; VGA monitor output.
Power Supply: Internal DC Board and External Universal 75W 110-240V AC Adapter. Power consumption at the plug about 19W without drives attached.
Booting and OS Support: The A2000 can to be booted from USB, LAN, one of two 3.5in SATA Hard Drives mounted internally or from Compact Flash using its built in Compact Flash Adapter. Supports (minimum) Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 (System Monitoring Utility and Security Suite provided), Ubuntu 8.04, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 (Service Pack 2) and FreeBSD.
