Cooling: The D2550-ITX Wi-Fi Supreme is cooled by an extremely quiet (and replaceable) 80mm fan, which sits on top of the heatsink.

Suitable picoPSUs: The picoPSU-80 and picoPSU-90 fit this board. Other picoPSU (including WI, M3-ATX, particularly XT) do not fit due to the close position of the primary SODIMM socket to the ATX connector. We recommend the 80W AC Adapter and picoPSU-90 combination for most installations. The P4 connector is not required with this particular board when using a picoPSU.

Suitable cases: The D2550-ITX Wi-Fi Supreme has a standard sized heatsink - all of our standard Mini-ITX cases (including the M350) will work. Slimline Optical Drive is not supported if C158-80W is used (due to SODIMM position). We have not yet tested the D2550-ITX Wi-Fi Supreme with any 1U chassis.

mSATA Note: mSATA disables SATA port 1 and is not possible with the WiFi card connected.

Notes: The D2550-ITX Wi-Fi Supreme supports DDR3 SODIMM memory, up to 4GB per SODIMM. 8GB is supported and guaranteed to work. DDR3 is not compatible with DDR or DR2 memory. Fully tested DDR3 SODIMMs are available here.

Important! This board has a 19V DC Power input and is not designed for use with a standard ATX PSU: The D2550-ITX-B Supreme is provided with a 90W 19V AC Adapter which powers the board directly and feeds power to up to 3 other devices through an on-board male Molex connector. We sell several enclosures without power supplies, or you can bypass the PSU on any other compatible Mini-ITX case. 90W is enough to power 3x HDDs or Slimline Optical Drives*, but we *do not* recommend powering a full size optical drive. Don't forget you can install most Operating Systems from a USB key very easily!

Recommended case: The M350 Universal Enclosure comes without an internal PSU and is fully compatible with the D250-ITX-B Supreme: M350 (highly recommended - currently available in our Zotac M350 Supreme Offer Bundle).

Using other cases: Many enclosures have a PSU which can be bypassed and are therefore compatible with the D2550-ITX-B Supreme, however the 'A' version of this board (without the built-in power supply) is much better suited for these.

Suitable Cases: All our Mini-ITX chassis with at least a 120W power supply, and an appropriate low profile heatsink if necessary. If using a larger than 65W TDP processor, a larger power supply than 120W may be required. Some suitable cases that will work with the Zotac Z68-ITX-A-E with a standard Intel Socket 1155 heatsink: The ES32067, ES30068, ES34069, Venus 669, Compucase 8K01, Compucase 8K07, Silverstone SG05, Jou Jue NU-528i 220W and Jou Jue NU-568i 220W.

picoPSU support: Due to the proximity of the ATX connector to the DIMM slots, it is only possible to fit one stick of memory into this board if a picoPSU is used.

Suitable Power Supplies: The picoPSU-160-XT & 192W AC Adapter or picoPSU-150-XT & 4pin 150W AC Adapter or 2.5mm Jack plug 150W AC Adapter combinations are both suitable for this motherboard. Only 4pin 12V needs to be connected to the 8pin ATX 12V connector.

Overclockable: Adventurous users can take advantage of the overclocking capabilities available on the Z68-ITX-A-Eto push 2nd Generation Intel Core K-series processors beyond the stock limits for an extra performance kick.

Heatsinks: The standard heatsink provided with the CPU will fit taller cases (including Compucase 8K01/8K07, Jou Jye 526/528/568). To use this board in a low profile case (e.g. M300, M350) please use the Akasa 7106HP Low Profile heatsink. To use this board in a 1U case please use the Dynatron K2 1U Side blower heatsink.
