Important! This board has a 12V DC Power input and is not designed for use with a standard ATX PSU: The JLI1S-5L requires a 12V AC Adapter to power the board and feed power to a SATA device through an on-board 4pin power output connector (cable included). There is an alternate 12V input on a 4pin Molex 5566 connector which can also be used (though not at the same time as the rear input). We sell several enclosures without power supplies, or you can bypass the PSU on any other compatible Mini-ITX case.

Suitable cases (without PSU): The following enclosures come without an internal PSU and are compatible with the JLI1S-5L: M350 and M5X**.

Suitable cases (with PSU): All Mini-ITX Chassis can be used with the JLI1S-5L if their PSU is bypassed and a 60W minimum 12V external AC Adapter is used. Alternatively an ATX Bridging Plug can be connected to the ATX connector of the PSU, and the 12V P4 plug (Black/Yellow cables) connected to the motherboard. Use the AT/ATX Mode jumper to control power up behaviour (AT Mode = power on immediately, ATX Mode = power when power switch pressed).

*Memory The JLI1S-5L supports up to 8GB DDR4 memory on 1x 8GB DDR4 SODIMMs, running at 2400MHz. This is not compatible with DDR, DDR2 or DDR3 SODIMM memory.
