Suitable Coolers: The Phoenix 7940HS WIFI board is pre-fitted with a mobile Ryzen processor attached directly to the motherboard underneath a metal plate in an AM4/AM5 socket. Suitable AM4 or AM5 coolers can be found here (Dynatron A18 recommended for 1U systems, combined with 3D-printed fan duct for C64x systems, Noctua NH-L9a-AM5 recommended for most other systems)

Integrated Graphics: The AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS has powerful Integrated Radeon 780M graphics comparable to the Ryzen 8600G and 8700G.

Multiple Screens: This board Supports up to 3 displays simultaneously via DisplayPort and HDMI.

Wireless LAN: The included Intel AX210 802.11ax WiFi 6E Module supports Dual-Band 2x2 160MHz with extended 6GHz band support*; Supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ax and Bluetooth 5.2 & High speed class II; Supports MU-MIMO; 2 antennas to support 2 (Transmit) x 2 (Receive) diversity technology.

Suitable Cases: Mini-ITX chassis with at least a 120W (or larger) power supply and an appropriate low profile heatsink if necessary.

OS Support: Windows 11 64-bit, Modern Linux Distributions, Commodore OS 3.0+

Installing Windows: To install Windows, download the disk image from Microsoft and write it to a 8GB or larger USB stick using Rufus. If you do not have WiFi, download the LAN driver pack from Intel and put it onto the same stick. Boot your machine and Install Windows from the stick, optionally copy and extract the LAN driver pack then "Browse my computer for drivers" from within the Device Manager on a Network Interface to install the i226V LAN driver. Next, download the AMD driver installer to install the chipset drivers and then use Windows update to install all other drivers.

Installing Linux (including Commodore OS 3.0) Press DEL to enter the BIOS and switch off Safe Boot before installing. Some AMD Linux drivers can be found here.
