I had to modify the hard disk drive mounting brackets and make a tray to mount the motherboard that would screw to the hard disk. Don't worry about the little sticker saying fragile, I was very gentle with the hammer and tin snips on this bit.

The motherboard, hard disk (hidden underneath) and the powersupply that was chopped up a little bit more since the first photo. The little motherboard is a VIA mini-itx. It is only about 6" square and has everything on board, including TV out, 100mg LAN, sound and video. These little beasties even boot from the LAN or a USB device like a pen drive.

There, now doesn't that look better than a 19" rack or even a Mac. For those people looking a little closer at the picture. This is the 4th computer in the room if you count the laptop. You just can't have too many computers now can you.
