Computex 2004, Day Five
Posted on 11 June 2004

We're back in the UK after our trip to Taiwan, but still have plenty of pictures left in the digital camera. In this penultimate installment, we have a Geode NX from AMD, VIA's EPIA MS board, two fanless systems from Scythe, and a Nail printing system from ImagiNail...

AMD had a working Geode NX Mini-ITX development board on display, seen here running Quake 3. Next we looked at the EPIA MS demo board, a low profile EPIA M variant featuring minimal ports but many pin headers.

Scythe showed a Mini-ITX board running at 1.4Ghz using their fanless Heatlane technology, as well as the Nano-ITX prototype previously seen at CeBIT. On the VIA stand was an EPIA-powered ImagiNail system - a rather clever computer-controlled nail printing system.
