Fitting the Hard
Drive
It's time to fit the hard drive. You may notice
I have a rather natty Seagate Barracuda IV ready to slot into
place. I chose this because they are very quiet, and very
fast, and priced quite reasonably these days. We won't get
into the relative merits of hard drives here - just don't
get anything
with 'GXP' in the product name. This is spoken from bitter
personal experience. Damn - there go my freebies from IBM...
;)
The drive cage slides under the 5.25"
CD-ROM sized bay.
Here's an action shot.
The drive in place.
The 3.5" cage is also removable, though
I had nothing to put in it after I removed it...
