Building an ION powered Home Theatre PC with XBMC 10.0
Configuring a Wii Remote
It is possible to configure a Wii Remote as a controller for XBMC using a compatible Bluetooth Adapter.
Note: This is a moderately difficult module.
Requirements:
You must have installed XBMC Live to your local disk for this module to work.
Your XBMC system needs an Internet connection.
Instructions:
1. Open a command line shell
2. Type these commands (only type the parts in gold):
sudo apt-get update
If you are prompted for a password use the one you set up during your xbmc installation.

sudo apt-get install bluez xbmc-eventclients-wiiremote

Answer "Yes" to any questions.

Open the battery compartment of the Wii remote you wish to use. Leave the batteries in!. Type the following command on the XBMC system:
hcitool scan
Now press the red sync button inside the battery compartment of the Wii remote.

You should see the unique address of your Wii remote displayed next to the text "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01". Write down this address! Now you need to edit a file by running the following command:
sudo nano /etc/rc.local

Insert the following text before the line which reads exit 0.
xbmc-wiiremote --btaddr <UNIQUE ADDRESS> &
where <UNIQUE ADDRESS> is the address you wrote down, for example:
xbmc-wiiremote --btaddr 00:19:1D:D6:22:CC &
N.B. Please remember & on the end of the line - it's very important.

Now press Control & X keys together, then press y, then press enter to save the updated file.
Now reboot your XBMC system. If you want to be really clever you could do this from the command-line by typing:
sudo reboot
Once your XBMC system has rebooted press the 1 & 2 buttons at the same time on your Wii remote to connect it to XBMC. You can save battery power in the Wii remote by pressing it's power button, this will disconnect it.
