Chyang Fun E-Note Review
Posted on January 26, 2003

The top of the case is held on by just two thumbscrews - but holds securely when they are tight. You can open this case in a flash for a poke around.

The nuts holding the plexiglass and aluminium together are topped by shiny covers which cunningly double as pads to prevent damage. Unfortunately the central pad is simply a shaped plastic 'button'. Ours fell off.

Removing the cover...

Inside the case. The PSU bottom right, the cross-flow fan centre right, removable drive cage centre left, motherboard to case connector ribbon cable and 3 USB, Firewire and audio cables.

Fitting the motherboard (and I/O panel provided with the board). Despite the large amount of room inside this case, this was a tight squeeze.

Attaching the case connectors, as demonstrated on page 2-11 of your EPIA M manual.
