After cutting an opening in the case for the drives, the next challenge was to mount the motherboard.

Try as I might, I couldn't get it completely inside the case, so I extended the back of the case by 1 ½ inches. I like to have easy access to the cables, so I mounted the motherboard with the connectors facing up. All that remained at this point was to connect up the wires and turn it on.

Fortunately nothing caught fire, and everything worked perfectly on the first attempt. I'm very pleased with the result, I have a computer that is unique, and it puts me in a good mood every time I look at it. It fits my personality perfectly: Retro-Geek!
