Putting the Case back
together
Once again we wish we had bought some round
IDE cables.
The case with the front panel screwed in place.
The
PCI Riser Card
Time to fit the PCI Riser card. We have the
2677R for review, which has a riser slot and space for a full
size PCI card. The earlier 2677 has a single, larger fan inside
the case and no riser.
If those twin fans were mounted at the back
of the case it wouldn't be such a squeeze here. But careful
IDE cable folding made it fit. Interestingly, the PCI riser
card faces outwards, unlike the G-Alantic's which faces inwards.
This space is just crying out for a Sigma
Designs Real Magic XCard...
